Owner: create a device credential
Generate a unique credential here. Copy it directly to a private Script Property named device: followed by the device ID. Its value is the device key. Never put the key in chat, source code, URLs or diagnostics. This page does not provision server access by itself.
Revoke by deleting that device property in the receiver’s owner editor. Remove the extension only after pending work and migration are verified.
Owner changed the receiver destination
Only after the owner deliberately changes this receiver from controlled testing to the authoritative Sheet: pause automation, reconcile pending work, then confirm the new destination. This keeps the existing device credential private.
Collection
This is the configured check time, not a publication deadline. LME website prices are next-day delayed. Collection needs an awake computer and running Brave. Startup checks retained work; historical recovery is limited to two calendar-month windows per run.
Issues & pending work
Historical changes need an owner-approved correction recorded in the private operations workbook. A routine check never replaces saved prices. Refresh the baseline after the owner’s correction.
Migration & backup
Pause the pilot first and export its 0.3.0 diagnostic report. Import the pilot into this paused installation; existing captures, receipts and recovery checkpoints are retained. Full backups require an empty destination. Verify dates and issues here before enabling automation. Keep the original installation until migration succeeds; avoid two active collectors.
Backups include captures, provenance, issues and acknowledgements; no key or connection details. Protect the file as business data. A new computer must enrol its own credential. Uninstalling or losing the browser profile removes local unsent work; server-confirmed receipts remain with the workbook owner.
Updates & privacy
Unpacked extensions update manually: pause, export a backup, replace runtime files in the same installation folder and click Reload in Brave’s extension manager. Review the state before resuming. No remote code or automatic extension updater runs.
Permissions cover LME chart capture, the authenticated Apps Script receiver and its response redirect, the published dashboard, local storage and alarms. Google receives signed requests with the device ID, request time and complete candidate prices. Source pages and hosting providers may process normal connection data. The receiver owner can access private operation records. Storage is not claimed to be encrypted at rest.
Calendar coverage: 2026–2027, verified September 26, 2026 against official LME exchange holidays and Notice 26/131. Other years require updating. US bank holidays are not exchange closures.
